Cookie Policy

Last updated: 25 June 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Keonda (“we”, “us”, or “our”) uses cookies when you use the Keonda application (the " Service"). This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website or application when you visit it. They are widely used to make services work, maintain your session, and remember settings between visits.

2. What Cookies We Use

We currently use a single strictly necessary cookie to operate the Service securely. We do not use any analytics, advertising, or third-party cookies.

Cookie NameTypeDurationPurpose
keonda_auth_tokenSecurityPersistent (up to 30 days)Authenticates and maintains your login session

This cookie is strictly necessary for the Service to function. It is set with HttpOnly and Secure flags, meaning it cannot be accessed by JavaScript and is only ever transmitted over HTTPS. You cannot opt out of this cookie while using the Service.

3. What We Do Not Use

We currently do not use:

  • Analytics or tracking cookies
  • Advertising or targeting cookies
  • Social media cookies or tracking pixels
  • Any third-party cookies of any kind

Because our only cookie is strictly necessary, we are not required to display a cookie consent banner under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR). This will change if we introduce analytics or other non-essential cookies — see Section 4.

4. Future Use of Analytics Cookies

We intend to introduce analytics cookies in future to help us understand how the Service is used. When we do so:

  • We will update this Cookie Policy with full details of each cookie, its provider, duration, and purpose.
  • We will implement a cookie consent mechanism giving you a clear choice before any non-essential cookies are placed on your device.
  • Analytics cookies will only be set with your explicit consent, in compliance with PECR and UK GDPR.
  • You will be able to change your preferences at any time.

The table below is a placeholder that will be completed when analytics cookies are introduced:

5. Managing Cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to view, block, or delete cookies at any time. Links to guidance for common browsers:

  • Google Chrome: chrome://settings/cookies
  • Mozilla Firefox: about:preferences#privacy
  • Safari: Preferences > Privacy
  • Microsoft Edge: edge://settings/privacy

Please note that blocking or deleting the Keonda security cookie will prevent you from staying logged in and using the Service.

We will update this Cookie Policy when we make material changes to how we use cookies — in particular when we introduce analytics cookies (see Section 4). We will notify you of significant changes via email or a prominent notice within the Service. The “last updated” date at the top of this document always reflects the most recent version.
